Parakeet- Yikes! That's some story!
JimmyPage - Yikes! That's some photo!
i seem to recall reading some time back that the society once wrote how some in the congregation refer to the society as "mama" or "mother".
does anyone remember that?
better yet, does anyone have a reference for that?.

It's funny that the Society would refer to themselves in the feminine, since they also teach that women have less brain capacity and lack the qualities necessary for leadership.
Parakeet-
Yeah, "Twoey" is a peach-faced lovebird. She's quite pretty. As was her mate, "Tequila", whom she killed in a fit of passion about a year ago. I'd buy her a new companion, but she's 10yrs old, and I can't picture her accepting anyone else. (Oh, yeah, and her screams are ear-piercing!)

Parakeet-
I just pray there's no rice throwing. That's pagan.
p.s. My love bird says hi.

Great references!
My grandfather, who ame into the religion in the 1950s, always calls the Watchtower Society his "Mama". He says things like "Mama sent me a letter today", which is his way of saying the Awake! came in the mail.
If they consider themselves Mother, and Jehovah as Father, then are they saying that they are married to God?

wondering if anyone knows when the circuit assembly is scheduled for in the duluth, minnesota area.
also, does anyone know the location (i'm sure it's some high school)?.
Okay, well I'll just give you a report after I return then.
i kept getting emails from a jw from somewhere, don't even know who she is.
last night i finally emailed this person asking them to stop emailing me because i am not a jw and have no interest in the emails she sends.
she practically sends 2-3 "spriritual" emails a day.
You didn't have to say it was written by a JW - judging fro the grammar, punctuation, and disrespect for sentence structure, we could have figured it out.
PM the woman's email address. I'd like to get on her mailing list.
